Caring for your Item
Follow the instructions below to keep your items in prime condition.
Rinse your item as soon as possible after use to remove food particles.
Hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and wipe dry immediately with a soft, clean cloth or tea towel for best results and to make your tableware last longer. (Do not use a powder cleaner instead choose a cream or liquid detergent e.g. fairy liquid)
In some areas hard water may leave calcium spots, or certain foods may cause tarnishing. These stains may be removed using lemon juice, vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner.
Your items may be polished with a pewter, silver cloth or Silvo silver polish.
These items are NOT dishwasher, microwave or oven safe.
Do not soak or leave your items unwashed overnight.
Do not leave in direct contact with foods strong in acid or alkaline for long periods of time.
Hand made intricate handles need to be cared for by thorough drying. Soap deposits left from drip-drying around the handle area can cause rust deposits to form.
Do not use wire wool or abrasive cleaners, this can cause scratching and will eventually remove the items shine.
